Course Description
TAC*ONE Consulting introduces a mass shooting training course designed to address the threat of an Active Shooter and other violent critical incidents on school grounds, college and university campuses, shopping malls, churches and the workplace. Our one-day course will include 10 hours of classroom instruction where students will view PowerPoint presentations on Columbine and Platte Canyon from the SWAT Operators who responded to the incidents. Rapid and Immediate Deployment movements and tactics will be discussed. Law Enforcement, Tactical Officers and Campus Police will learn how to effectively deploy in a Rapid And Immediate Deployment formation to address the threat of an active aggressor. Topics to be covered include a history of mass shootings, pre-planning and vulnerability assessment and how to choose and train your people well. Let Grant Whitus share his first-hand accounts as the person who made entry into Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, observed the explosive devices, rendered aid to victims, and the first to make entry into the library and locate the shooters. Learn from the team leader that developed and executed the tactical plan for the hostage rescue inside Platte Canyon High School which included a dual explosive entry into a classroom. This was the first of its kind inside a school.
"Learn from the tactical officers that have actually been there, not from people with just theoretical knowledge."
Tuition for the one-day course is $199* per student. *Tuition negotiable depending upon number of students enrolled
