 TAC*ONE Consulting offers a variety of active shooter & tactical trainings and programs for law enforcement.  Other specialties for police, sheriff & other law enforcement officers include officer survival, dignitary protection and high risk warrant execution.  There has been a growing interest to address security training needs for school faculty and the private sector with school violence incidents issues as well as casino, hotel and resort security.

Trainings for civilians are offered as well including concealed carry programs and self defense courses.

All of our specialized officer training courses and civilian programs are available in Colorado at a variety of locations or on location for you and your team.  We have traveled nationwide to 12 states which include Wyoming, Las Vegas, New Mexico, Alaska, Miami and more.

TAC*ONE Consulting is staffed with the brightest and the best subject matter experts in the active shooter response, tactical medicine, executive protection and tactical training field. Below are just a few of our staff:

• Joe Deedon has personally responded to active shooter incidents including the Platte Canyon High School incident (09/2006 – Jefferson County CO) and the Deer Creek Middle School Shooting with Dr. Benke (02/2010 – Littleton CO).  At the Plate Canyon High School incident Joe was responding in a tactical response and at Deer Creek Middle School he responded at patrol level.
• Doug Ericsson Las Vegas Metro, currently an assistant team leader with Metro SWAT brings years of valuable experience and training to the table. His 9-5 keeps him on the leading edge of tactics and current trends within the tactical community.
• Mark Mills Las Vegas Metro S.W.A.T. (Ret). with 14.5 of his 20 years assigned to the SWAT Team.  Mark has participated in over 3,000 High Risk / Critical Search Warrants and over 650 tactical situations involving barricaded gunmen, later supervising over 700 missions as a team leader.
• Tom Medina Colorado State Patrol (Ret). with 15 of his 20 years assigned to the Executive Protection Unit which included 8 years as a detail supervisor. Tom worked the details of Colorado Governors’ Roy Romer, Bill Owens, Bill Ritter and John Hickenlooper.
